James Island: Nature Wanderings, Birds, and the Intertidal
Tuesday May 7th | 7:45am-3pm (PST)
2024
Small Group Tour | Maximum Participant Size: 8
You consider yourself adventurous and curious - from a complete beginner wanderer to intermediately knowledgeable about the San Juan Islands and local wildlife.
You want to focus on slowing down, tuning into your senses and body; can undertake a mild hike with some moderate elevation; are comfortable ambling around on rocks that may be a little slick; looking to discover someplace that might be new-to-you and/or some wildlife, wild flowers, and birds you may not have seen before.
You’re comfortable wearing a pack and carrying your own gear; you can also abide by “pack it in, pack it out,” protocols.
Hope to learn something new, connect deeper to this beautiful place around us, and take in the whole experience with a tight knit group of people that share the same passion for nature and the Salish Sea!
